Yard work is mostly just a self-imposed repetitive cycle of outdoor busy work for home owners. It can also serve as a very important and very sacred competition between neighbors to determine who among them is truly willing to waste both the most water and the most free time. To gain the neighbors’ envy and the everlasting joy that comes with it, you must be more proficient than them at watering your grass so that it grows, you must also be more consistent than them at cutting your grass when it grows, and then, with tremendous discipline and terrible disregard for the environment, you must again and again water your grass so that it grows… This is my way of saying I hate yard work and I don’t want to mow the lawn.

A riding mower is a game changer?
Patti, I have a riding mower. I still hate the game. 😀
Total domination of your neighbor is the only way to go my friend. Win at all cost and enjoy the mow! -Your fellow Lawn Care Nut
Jamar, my next few posts are all going to be about mowing the lawn. I’d rather write blog posts about mowing the lawn than mow the lawn.
