Life is a classroom, not a courtroom.

You don’t truly become an adult until you start making fun of the way teenagers behave.

Perfection is a matter of perspective.

To my son, Luke, the multiple patches of grass-free dirt in our lawn make for perfect tracks for his monster truck toys. And to think I almost reseeded those “imperfect” spots… Had I done so, I would have missed a perfect moment out there with him yesterday.

Sometimes, it’s best to just let an issue work itself out without your interference.

Many times in your life, you will have this choice to make: You can either make the world a little bit better or make it a little bit worse.

Sometimes the apple falls reeeaaallly far from the tree.

When I have a problem I am struggling to solve, I like to take a break from it and take a walk, and then, usually, the solution comes to me all on its own.
