Basketball

Coach Thorsted

You have to lose to really learn how to win when it matters most.

I don’t care if we win or lose. I just want to be proud of how we played.

In sports, if you’re going to do something wrong, do it full speed. If you do that, you’ll always be doing something right.

Adversity is ultimately good for you.

Whatever you do and however you do it, know that you are always on your spiritual path. Remember, everything is part of the path. Remember, everything is sacred.

Repetition is rhythm.

You can learn a lot from losing. You don’t learn much from winning. But here’s the secret, you can learn from losing in the 1st quarter, from losing in the 2nd quarter, and from losing in the 3rd quarter. You don’t have to wait until the end of the 4th quarter to do your learning. You can lose, learn, and still win.

You are the hero of your story.

Either you’re prepared or you’re not.

Fortune favors the prepared.
