I wouldn’t trade one single moment of life shared with my children for a thousand years or more spent living without them.
In the past, I tried to live a healthy life for fear of death. Now, I try to live a healthy life for the love of life.
The last day of school is always bittersweet for me. I love summer break as much as any student or teacher out there, but at the end of each school year, I can’t help but think to myself: I just spent the last nine months building meaningful relationships with hundreds of people that I will never see again… That’s a bitter goodbye to swallow. The only way to wash it down is with some sweet, sweet summer.
