Nature

Coach Thorsted

Humans are my least favorite animal.

“I’m so glad I live in a world where there are Octobers.” – L.M. Montgomery

When you place your hand on a stone, you are not just touching a rock. You are touching something ancient. You are touching something that existed millions of years before you and something that will exist for millions of years after you. Stones are sacred.

There is a lot we can learn from trees. Trees are strong, yet flexible, independent, yet interconnected, and constantly seeking to grow, yet not afraid to let go.

“Who could hate this?” – Paul

Lions, tigers, and bears are more powerful than wolves, but wolves do not perform in the circus.

Tortoises can live for more than 250 years. Slow down.

Nature is my religion. Earth is my church.

Confusion and wisdom are one. As the ice of confusion thaws, the water of wisdom flows.

We are part of nature. Live in harmony with the cycles, seasons, and rhythms of the universe.
